Teaching and Learning
Learning:It is an subconciuos process that human beings acquire from child age since his-her parents started talking in any language. However, Learning depends on intelectual effort so it can be adquire by studying it conscioustly too.
Teaching:it is the process to guie and help providing ways to learn something.

Why is Applied Linguistics a multidisciplinary science?
Applied linguistics help solving real language world issues and that is possible using different science such as:
- Linguistics: which describe what people say or write using a correct grammar, sintax and semantic.
- Sociolinguistics: It answers the questions: Who speaks? about what?, to whom? When?, Where? and whith which purpose?.
- Sociology and Social Anthropology: because learning a language depend on which society the learners are involved and how currently living human beings behave in social groups.
- Phycholinguistics: it refers to how people learn, understand and produce languages.
- Pragmatics: it is the use of language in a real communication. It is the way we speak.
- As well as education, pedagogy and psychology.
All these science help solving problems on teaching or learning any language giving the conceptual skills to understand and get the knowledge easily. This is the function of Applied Linguistics.

What is procrastinating? What is your reflection about this comic? Do you like it?
In my opinion, Procrastinating is given by deferment any work, task or responsability that we have to do in a specific time and we prefer doing it later or another day.
As this comic shows us doing our works help us learning new skills which can be very useful to resolve future problems or situations.
Starting Classes
We started class on February 20th 2008.
I knew the teacher from Phonetics I.
She talked about the way to comunicate each other which are through our blogs and the university web page.
